Fixpert

Just wanted to say thanks to Doteasy, my web host, for quick resolution of this corrupted database issue that I had this week.

I had recently filled up all of my disk space on fixpert.com and as a result, my Wordpress comments table got corrupted.

I read through the Wordpress support forums, and I discovered that I needed to repair my wp_comments table, but when I went into phpMyAdmin to do so, I got this error message:

Can’t open file: ‘wp_comments.MYD’. (errno: 145)

…which was similar to the error message that was being printed out in the Comments area of post pages on my site.

I filed a Case (like a request for help) with Doteasy this morning around 9am, and they’ve already gone in and repaired my table for me.

These guys have been really good hosts, I’ve been using them for at least 8 years now and I’d recommend them if you’re shopping around for hosting — Dang! 8 years!! The internet’s getting old son!
