Cool! I have seen that friggin’ movie so many times! There are a lot of fixed gear bikes in there. It’s funny, sometimes Kevin Bacon’s bike changes from fixed gear to freewheel in the middle of a scene. But, then again, sometimes the city changes from NYC to SF in the middle of a scene. Kind of a messenger’s wet dream really.

There’s an awesome trick scene, where all the messengers are fooling around out behind “base”. They got some pro 80’s bmx riders on fixed gear bikes doing all sorts of sick tricks!!

Saw Quicksilver on FLiX the other day. Priceless. I can add that to the list of Kevin Bacon movies I love to hate. Oddly enough, though, I couldn’t stop watching.
