One minute she kicks your butt and the next she's all smiles and nice and cooing over her baby. She caught me at Ironcross, which is 60-some-odd miles, earlier than any other woman has before (they start behind the men), smoking by me about two-thirds of the way up the first major climb. And she raced against the men's vet and A-class - back-to-back no less - in Richmond in early January as she prepared for the 'cross worlds.
