I’m Moving to California

Hi everybody. I just wanted you to know that things might be a little quiet at Fixpert for a bit. On Friday, I am jumping on a plane to LAX. I am moving to Santa Monica to start a new job out there as an Interactin Designer! It’s really exciting. I will tell you what I’m up to after I talk to my boss and make sure it’s ok to write about it here.

I ended up here looking for info on fixies. I stayed b/c you’re a webdesigner. I’m a young marketing manager for a small medical device start up, but my true passion is design. What does an interaction designer do, day to day, does it pay well enough to support a family, and how do I become one?
