Well, I’m moving to San Francisco.

Yes dear friends, it’s true. I’ve got two weeks of work to finish up here in LA, then I’m headed up North to search for apartments. Once I’ve secured a place, I’ll come back down, grab my stuff and hit the 5 North, past Cowschwitz, and on into the Bay Area.
Speaking of BAY AAAREAAA! I’ve been listening to a lot of E-40 to indoctrinate myself. I’ve already adjusted the gearing on my bike for the hills, so between those two things, I’d say I’m ready to roll. I start my new job March 3. Stoked.

Welcome to the Foggy Cold. :) SF is definitely a city you come to love quickly. My trip to NY spoiled me though as their mass transit is really really good. Don’t be afraid to look along the Caltrain / BART lines for apartments as well. It can be cheaper than the city, and sometimes just as accessible.

Congratulations! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it there. I skated those banks pictured above when we were there, then I found out later that cops have beaten up people for doing just that. Oops! Good luck.

I had to drop a comment on this one, because I’m so freaking jealous, I can’t stand it. I’m a NorCal at heart, and The City is my city, my home. It’s captivating and romantic. I know she’ll (SF) treat you well. Watch out for the traffic on Van Ness! I almost lost my neck there.
