@Tim - Thanks again Tim, you're always a huge help!!

@Dustin - Yeah, I just attended Bill Scott's 2 day AJAX workshop where he showed us a lot of the YUI Library -- after I posted this article of course. So, I'm looking forward to using it. After Bill's session I immediately went to your site (and your Vitamin article) and read as much as I could about YUI. I'm sure I'll be bugging you with follow up questions once I start digging in, hehe!

I was hoping this post might have inspired a chance for you to play with "IUY" instead of downloading lightbox ;) You'll give in sooner or later :)

I use the TextControl plugin to stop Wordpress from putting in break tags and smart quotes. You can change the default settings and override them locally.

Cool, thanks Baron. I'll check that out. I'll post what I find in a new post on Fixpert if I find the answer.

The line-break thing is one of the settings in Wordpress that I had to edit manually, at least in version 1.5.2 which I'm still using. I forget how to do it :-P But I know you can find it on the Wordpress site, perhaps codex.wordpress.org. There's a list of "filters" all content goes through, and you just take that filter out of the list. Then Wordpress will stop trying to rewrite your HTML.
