Pit bulls are very nice and willing dogs that will make great family pets, if only they are socialized like all dogs. without the socialisation they become a danger(as with all dogs) and then peoplego around saying they are dangerous. I wouldnt get animal control to take them though because they will just say they are a danger and put the to sleep, instead i would find the nearest pit bull centre and tell them what is happening.
