Transmit 3.2.1 — Not Fully Functional
Some of you will be happy to hear that fate intervened last night and prevented me from publishing a post about Data from Star Trek the Next Generation entitled “I Am…Fully Functional.” It’s probably for the best.
What exactly happened? Well, I was using my favorite FTP program, Transmit, to upload an image of Data to my site. The transfer stalled, and then I completely lost my internet connection, not only with Transmit but on my entire machine. I had to reboot in order to regain my connection. It’s not the first time this has happened to me. Ever since I upgraded Transmit to 3.2.1 I’ve been having this problem pretty regularly, and I don’t see anything in the release notes about it. What a bummer, I hope they fix it. Anyone else having this problem?

How much better is Transmit 3 from 2? Worth the upgrade? (maybe not if it’s got a bug) 2 has been really solid for so long. Would be nice to have collapsable or scrolling folder tree though.
Cheers,
Cameron

After this issue I’ve been having, I would have preferred to stick with 2. I don’t really use any advanced features though.
